Our Story

Hi!

My name is Jaro (pronounced “Yaro"). Originally from the Czech Republic, I moved to BC, specifically Whistler, in 2011. I followed my call to travel, explore and live in the mountains temporarily, but ended up staying, settled in, and became a father of two. Now I am happy to call the Corridor my home.

I graduated from car mechanic industry and my passion for mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, and bodywork for vehicles slightly shifted into a pool/hot tub maintenance while I got to live and work in the United States as a lifeguard/pool manager.

Before and after the summer season, I got trained and gained valuable skills such as drain and clean service, evaluation of pool condition and filtration equipment, assessment and recommendations for repairs or renovations, removal and storage of pool covers, winterization of the facility at the end of the season, filling and maintaining proper water level, delivering and administrating of chemicals and supplies and looking after patrons’ safety throughout the summer.

This international experience has made it possible to get a maintenance position at the local Whistler hotel and I have stayed them loyal until I decided it was time to move on and venture on opening my own maintenance business in 2016.
